The Dune Room is being installed
The art project "De Duinkamer" (The Dune Room) by artist Krijn de Koning has been successfully installed at Museum iCOON.
With the arrival of "De Duinkamer," the museum gains a unique spatial installation. De Koning has created a unique network of corridors, based on the impressive thickness of the bunker walls. The massive proportions form the starting point for a new spatial experience with unexpected views. It is an architectural sculpture that is simultaneously monumental and inviting, where color, form, and architecture merge into a new reality. Visitors will literally step inside the artwork.
Museum iCOON is delighted with the arrival of this installation at Buitenplaats iCOON. The work strengthens the dialogue between art, landscape, and architecture. The artist is also enthusiastic about the result.
