Open Call; MINIM.AL, with Anne Truitt in mind
After the call for artists and designers to participate in the exhibition MINIM.AL, with Anne Truitt in mind, 161 responses were received. And there were so many good ones that it was quite a job for curator Helma Vlemmings and Ralph Roelse, the founder of New Dutch Minimalism (@new_dutch_minimalism) to choose 10 artists from all the entries. But we succeeded.

From April 4 to April 7, the exhibition MINIM.AL, with Anne Truitt in mind will be organized together with the artists and designers. Visitors are already very welcome! Artist abcdef will open the exhibition by creating a work live on the facade of iCOON.
iCOON is open from 11am to 5pm! And a ticket costs 10 euros.
Anne Truitt
Anne Truitt (16 maart 1921 – 23 december 2004), geboren Anne Dean, was een Amerikaanse beeldhouwer uit het midden van de 20e eeuw. Ze werd eind jaren zestig bekend vanwege haar grootschalige minimalistische sculpturen, vooral na invloedrijke solotentoonstellingen in de André Emmerich Gallery in 1963 en in het Joods Museum (Manhattan) in 1966. In tegenstelling tot haar tijdgenoten maakte ze haar eigen sculpturen met de hand, waarbij ze industriële processen schuwde. Haar werk put uit beelden uit haar verleden en gaat ook over het visuele spoor van herinnering en nostalgie.
