This weekend, the new exhibition opens in iCOON: A WALL OF BLUE by Cindy Bakker. The Rotterdam artist has created completely new work for this solo exhibition. She was inspired by the surrounding landscape. The sea, the beach, the dunes, in contrast with the hard concrete of the bunker itself. With her exhibition, Cindy wants to offer not only a visual experience, but also a journey through personal memories in relation to the environment. Each work is an invitation to look beyond the surface, to discover your own memories and associations in the simplicity of what is familiar to us.

Siobhan Burger zal de tentoonstelling inleiden. Burger is directeur Sociale Impact en Duurzaamheid bij VORM en één van de oprichters van Arttenders. Siobhan wordt door Cindy Bakker ook wel haar 'ontdekker' genoemd en samen hebben ze The Splash ontwikkeld.
