Cindy Bakker is a contemporary artist based in Rotterdam.
In her new exhibition Een muur van blauw (‘A wall of blue’), artist Cindy Bakker presents site-specific works at iCOON. Using her distinctive visual language of simple forms, bold colors, and everyday materials, Bakker creates an immersive experience where memory, landscape, and imagination come together. Inspired by personal memories and the surrounding environment—the dunes, the beach, the sea—she connects the collective with the personal. Een muur van blauw invites visitors to project their own associations and memories onto a world that feels both familiar and estranged.
