Fransje Killaars in iCOON

"For iCOON, I developed installations and autonomous works. I usually construct my installations partly from my existing alphabet. The individual parts, which return to my storage after dismantling, are fitted with new parts that I add to them. In addition, I also develop new works that are created specifically for the given space," writes artist Fransje Killaars.

"In iCOON, originally a bunker, I want to respond visually to the theme of 'life and death' inherent in its former military function. It has not been more relevant than it is now for a long time. Furthermore, I make use of personal themes in my work."
