Meet Berry Dijkstra

Berry Dijkstra is a design curator, composition artist, and collector. He is known for his colorful and sculptural furniture installations in which the boundaries between art and design are explored in a playful manner. Drawing on his background as a collector of vintage and contemporary design, he developed a recognizable visual signature based on his motto Form Follows Fun.

Through his exhibitions, collaborations, and curatorial practice, he brings designers together and creates new perspectives on the role of design in society. Shelter for Design is currently on display at iCoon. Dijkstra organized and curated the group show, featuring a wide range of works by designers from the Netherlands and abroad, together with Helma Vlemmings.
